To achieve this, the ecological transition agency worked for two years with more than a hundred researchers to propose solutions. The first scenario is called the ‘frugal generation’, it favors the local and recommends half of its journeys on foot or by bicycle. The third solution proposed by Ademe proposes to invest in green growth by developing decarbonization technologies and renovating housing. “The last scenario is a bet on the future. It is based on technologies that do not yet exist and on the development of CO² capture and storage to continue mass consumption and increased travel”, adds Sandrine Feydel.
