four minors arrested after the broadcast of a video of the attack on a high school student

A teenage girl was beaten and forced to strip and the scene was broadcast on social media. The victim filed a complaint.

Four minors aged 15 and 16 were arrested in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime) on Monday January 15 following an attack on a high school student last Tuesday, France Bleu Normandie learned from the Le Havre public prosecutor’s office this Monday. On January 9 late in the afternoon, a teenage girl was beaten and forced to strip, and the scene was broadcast on social networks. On January 9 around 5:30 p.m., reports France Bleu, “a student from the Lavoisier high school in Le Havre was attacked in front of her establishment before being taken to a more remote location”reports the Le Havre prosecutor’s office. “She was then beaten and forced to strip. This violence was filmed and broadcast on social networks.”

In the video clips which were shared on social networks, we see a young girl being punched in the back but also kicked while she is on the ground. One attacker pulls her hair, another insults her: “Dirty buffoon”, “dirty cunt”, “shut up, stop crying”. The victim is threatened by one of his attackers: “If I hear that you made a complaint about the Koran of Mecca, I will f*ck your mother.”

The victim filmed in a bra

In another video clip, the victim is filmed in a bra and panties. One of the attackers orders her to run, another to walk. The victim complies to the cries of joy of her attackers. The victim, also a minor, filed a complaint on January 9 at the Le Havre police station, specifies France Bleu. Another complaint for similar facts had been filed the day before, on the 8th, at the same police station, specifies the public prosecutor Bruno Dieudonné, who indicates that “the two cases have similarities, with some of the attackers being common to both cases.”

The four minors arrested were placed in police custody for “violence in meetings, death threats, capture and dissemination of images of a pornographic nature using an electronic communications network and dissemination of the recording of images relating to the communication of a willful attack on the integrity of the person , otherwise known as ‘Happy slapping'”.
