Four people entered a nursery school in Montpellier (Hérault) on Monday afternoon. Armed with iron bars, they beat two men.

A violent intrusion occurred Monday, November 22 at the end of the afternoon in a nursery school in Montpellier, reports France Bleu Hérault. Four men armed with an iron bar entered the Jeanne-Deroin establishment around 5.30 p.m., after leaving school. They pursued a 35-year-old animator, punched him and pulled him out of the facility to beat him again. A 32-year-old father, who tried to intervene, was also badly beaten.
The host and the dad come out with minor injuries but are very shocked. Children also witnessed the scene of violence. Monday evening, Fanny Dombre-Coste, first deputy mayor in charge of school affairs in Montpellier, went there to support the animation teams and teachers. She was there again Tuesday evening to meet the parents. Tuesday morning, several animators, very touched, did not come to work.
This intrusion is reminiscent of the one that occurred last March at the Galilée school in the Hauts-de-Massane district in Montpellier. Two young people had entered the school to try to recover drugs hidden in a bag that a mother had brought back to school, thinking it was a snack bag.
