“We have not studied, there is no study that takes the four-lane tunnel project, so two lanes for public transport, there is none”, dropped the head of the CAQ , the day after the first leaders’ debate, during which he was fairly attacked by his opponents on his 3rd link project.

“The studies that had been done were the studies that had been requested by the Liberals, they weren’t talking about a four-lane downtown to downtown tunnel,” he insisted.

And getting an education doesn’t happen overnight. Several months will have to pass before the government has a real analysis in hand. “We hope in the next year to be able to have all the results of the studies and we continue to move forward because we need a 3e link,” said François Legault.
