FouKi, Jay Scott, Les Louanges and Sarahmée will be part of the big national holiday show which will take place on June 23 at the Place des Festivals in the Quartier des Spectacles, in Montreal, after two recorded editions without an audience due to the pandemic.

They will be accompanied by Roxane Bruneau, Patrice Michaud, Michel Pagliaro, Alicia Moffet, Ariane Roy and Kathia Rock. Pierre-Yves Lord will be hosting the event, which will begin at 9 p.m. and will be broadcast the following evening on TV and radio.
This year also marks the return of the Stationary Parade on de Maisonneuve Boulevard, between Sanguinet and Saint-Dominique streets, as well as some 50 neighborhood parties in Montreal.
The theme of this 188and national holiday has as its theme: “I love my language”.
The names of the artists were unveiled Tuesday at Club Soda in the presence of Louise Harel, president of the board of directors of the Comité de la fête nationale in Montreal, with an onstage performance by FouKi and Jay Scott of their song Copilot.
Hubert Lenoir, Samian and High Klassified in Laval
FouKi will also be celebrating in Laval (at the Center de la nature) the next day, June 24, with High Klassified, Hubert Lenoir, Isabelle Boulay, Klô Pelgag, Les Louanges, Lisa Leblanc, Patrice Michaud, Samian and Sarahmée.
They will take turns on the Center de la nature stage, starting at 8:30 p.m., to perform great Quebec classics and unexpected mixes.
The patriotic text will be written this year by Michel-Marc Bouchard and Caroline Dawson; fireworks will close the show.
