Forty-four Ukrainian refugees arrived this Sunday morning in Vendée

More than one and a half million refugees have fled Ukraine according to the latest UN report, released this Sunday morning. Among them, 44 arrived this Sunday, at the end of the morning, in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (Vendée). In particular, there are 25 children. It is the association the Joyful little shoes which organized their visit. These refugees left their country on Friday morninghit by Russian offensives.

These refugees will not occupy accommodation provided by certain municipalities. They will be accommodated by 18 host families in around ten Vendée municipalities. Host families who will be there to support them in the administrative procedures or so that the children can go to school.
