The Briton started first on the starting grid and stayed ahead for the entire race.

Frenchman Norman Nato (Nissan) and Englishman Sam Bird (Jaguar Racing) completed the podium. The first came very close to disaster by damaging his front wing while trying to overtake Dennis. He saved the day, however, and got his best result of the season.

Speaking of disaster, Mitch Evans (Jaguar Racing) and Nick Cassidy saw their day take a bad turn on lap three. The winner of the previous day’s race, Evans, crashed into Cassidy after missing a brake. The culprit gave up, while the New Zealander had to settle for 14th place. It’s a blow for Cassidy, since he was the leader in the drivers’ championship before today’s round.

The Formula E season will end next Saturday with the London ePrix.
