Formula 1 will run in the Netherlands until 2025

(London) Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen will enjoy a home run until at least 2025, as the Dutch Grand Prix has just extended his contract for two years.

The race reappeared on the F1 calendar in 2021 at the coastal circuit of Zandvoort for the first since 1985 and proved hugely popular at the box office. Verstappen has spoiled his supporters by winning races there since.

F1 will be back there on August 27 for the last race of this initial contract. The extension affects the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

A second Dutchman will be on the grid next year, when Nyck de Vries will line up with AlphaTauri.
