Formula 1 publishes its 2025 calendar, the Canadian Grand Prix remains in its place

The Canadian Grand Prix retained its place in mid-June at the heart of a slightly revamped 24-race program for the 2025 Formula 1 season.

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) published its calendar on Friday. The stopover at the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit, located on Notre-Dame Island, will take place from June 13 to 15, 2025.

It will follow the Spanish GP, from May 30 to 1er June, and will precede the Austrian GP, from June 27 to 29. The stop in Montreal will intersect this year with those in Monaco and Spain.

The Australian GP will return to its place as the season opener which it occupied almost without interruption from 1996 until the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bahrain GP was the first event of the last four campaigns.

No GPs have been added or subtracted from the current season. However, some changes in the order of the races made it possible to group them by region. Remember that F1 is aiming for carbon neutrality in 2030.

The 2025 season will be the last with the current regulatory framework. New regulations are due to come into force in 2026.
