former professional Romain Bacon (CC Nogent-Sur-Oise) wins the second round

The cyclist of the CC de Nogent-sur-Oise, Romain Bacon, won this Sunday, August 7 on the 2nd round of the Challenge Mayennais in Saint-Germain-d’Anxure. Florian Maître, from Laval Cyclisme 53, the most combative of the afternoon, had to settle for 6th place.

The second round of the Challenge Mayennais was won this Sunday August 7 in Saint-Germain-d’Anxure by Romain Bacon of the Nogent-Sur-Oise Cyclo-Club. The 32-year-old Ile-de-France resident is a former professional runner : he was part of the BigMat-Auber 93 continental team between 2011 and 2013. The overall leader’s green jersey is on the shoulders of Kevin Avoine, also from CC Nogent-sur-Oise. He finished 2nd in the first race and 3rd in the second race. Florian Maître, from Laval Cyclisme 53, was the most combative of the afternoonbut he had to settle for 6th place in this second race.

Last round this Monday in Nord-Mayenne

The 35th edition of this cycling race began on Saturday in Montsûrs, it continued this Sunday in Saint-Germain-d’Anxure and ends on Monday August 8 in Fougerolles-du-Plessis in Nord-Mayenne. The start is given at 2 p.m. for the third and final round, with 111 kilometers on the program.
