Frédéric Mitterrand died on Thursday March 21 at the age of 76 following cancer. The nephew of François Mitterrand had been Minister of Culture under the presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy. Brice Hortefeux, Nicolas Sarkozy’s Minister of the Interior, then rubbed shoulders with him.
