Stuart spent the past season in a coaching role with Colorado College, his alma mater.

In 2018-19, Stuart held a coaching role with the Manitoba Moose, the Winnipeg Jets’ AHL farm club, before joining the coaching staff at the University of Vermont.

A first-round pick of the Boston Bruins in 2003, Stuart, 38, has appeared in 673 games over his 12 National Hockey League campaigns.

Stuart spent six years with the Bruins before being traded to the Atlanta Thrashers during the 2010-11 season.

Following the transfer from the Thrashers to Winnipeg, Stuart played his final six seasons with the Jets before moving to Germany where he played for one season.
