“Forever Melodies” by Kids Return, a first album with a pop-electro universe

The birth of Kids Return has its source in Paris, in April 2020. Confined together and without a clear horizonAdrien Rozé and Clément Savoye immerse themselves in the filmography of Japanese filmmaker Takeshi Kitano and his soundtracks by Joe Hisaishi.

With in mind the melodies of the soundtracks of Francis Lai, Michel Legrand, Vladimir Cosma or Ennio Morricone, the newly formed duo is destined to compose music for the image. Driven by a new creative effervescence, the two leave self-isolate in a family home in the Pyrenees with the ambition of composing an album far from the considerations of the time. The duo immerse themselves body and soul in the work.

From the latter was born “Forever Melodies”, a first album of 10 pop tracks expertly refined, imbued with nostalgia, an astounding sincerity and a boundless love for dressing up melodies.
