Due to the drought, the Office National des Forêts maintains its ban on driving in all the forest areas of the Orléans forest. A previous decree issued earlier this week remained in effect until Monday, August 8. It is extended. The circulation of cars and of any motorized vehicle therefore remains prohibited in all the forests of the Loiret, and this until further notice.
The NFB indicates that this prohibition applies to “any motor vehicle on all forest roads in the Loiret state forests, throughout the period of sensitivity to fire risks”.
