On Sunday October 30, Francis Letellier received the president of the Hauts-de-France region, Xavier Bertrand, who founded his We France movement, allied with the Les Républicains party. He speaks, among other things, on immigration, pension reform and the rise in electricity prices.

The government will have to put its hand in its pocket to help. ”Between the electricity shock absorber and the safety net, all of these measures represent an effort of nearly 12 billion euros”said Thursday, October 27 the Prime Minister. “We must help the French people get through this difficult phase (…), but we must do more, especially for the energy bill of our companies”, supports the ex-LR. Regarding the pension reform, Emmanuel Macron argued that the legal age will increase to 65 in 2031, but a departure may be considered at 64, under conditions. “Some can go further, others cannot. In December, LR members will vote for the future president of the party between Éric Ciotti, Bruno Retailleau and Aurélien Pradié. “I want to listen well to explain as objectively as possible the reasons for my choice. I expect debates so that everyone can express themselves. (…) It allows you to know the direction, the vision that each and every one proposes”, argues Xavier Bertrand. Whoever the president is elected in a month, he announces that he will stay with the party.
