For the unvaccinated: let’s immediately increase the incentives for immunization

According to several experts, the rapid rise in hospitalizations is worrying. This surge causes surgeries from honest people who have gone to be vaccinated against COVID-19. In addition, it obliges the government to put back distance education for several school levels, to close restaurants, to restore a curfew, etc.

Meanwhile, we know that the unvaccinated who are about 10% of the adult population make up about 50% of people hospitalized with COVID-19. It is so shocking to people waiting for surgeries who have to wait for surgery due to irresponsible decisions by some people. Many people suffer because of them. Not just the people who are waiting for surgery, but the entire population is in pain, in large part because of the unvaccinated.

New measures

Therefore, I ask the Legault government to adopt, without further delay, measures to encourage vaccination such as the following, in order to incite or as the French president says to “piss off” the unvaccinated so that they will finally go. get vaccinated as soon as possible.

1. Immediately extend the vaccination passport to shopping centers, hairdressing salons and all businesses deemed non-essential.

2. Extend the vaccination passport with regard to student access to CEGEPs, universities, vocational training centers (CFP) and adult schools.

3. Obligation of all people who are not vaccinated to pay their health care costs related to COVID-19, and this, after having received them.

4. Obligation for all new hires in the public and private sector that the person be adequately vaccinated.

5. Double the fines for curfews for the unvaccinated.

6. Charge an additional $ 1,000 in tax on the unvaccinated as compensation for the ills caused to society by their irresponsible decision not to receive two doses of vaccines that have been available for months.
