For the lawyer of Cyril Lignac’s burglars, the leader “will always be able to sell his marshmallow bears”

It’s the most lunar… and delicious defense there is! This Saturday, December 30, 2023, the hearing was held in Paris for immediate appearance of the two criminals aged 18 and 20 who entered the home of Cyril Lignac Few days ago. As reported by our colleagues at Parisian, the two young men stole luxury bags, sneakers, apartment keys and those of a Porsche, for damage estimated at more than thirty thousand euros. But if the two young bandits managed to leave, they nevertheless left in their wake decisive elements allowing them to be quickly found: the young adults inadvertently dropped a Navigo pass, an iPhone, a hammer and some of the items they stole were found in the neighboring gardenwhich belongs to the King of Morocco Mohammed VI.

Apprehended in a VTC car a few hours later, the two young men were immediately placed in police custody, and were tried this Saturday, December 30, 2023, in immediate appearance. Their lawyer, Elie Dottelonde, tried everything to reduce the charges against them, going so far as to ironically attack the famous chef’s profession as a pastry chef: “Let’s be serious, my client is not a delinquent, he is in high school! It is not a question of protecting society from his actions, Cyril Lignac will still be able to sell his marshmallow bears after this affair. The lawyer did not hesitate to mock the two men, by awarding them “the Cesar for worst burglary” : “Leaving your sister’s phone and her Navigo pass there, we’re better off as an elite move”.

Prison closed, but they came out free

During their appearance, the two criminals placed the blame on a ringleader, who intervened via a Snapchat group and also via the encrypted network Signal. All these attempts, however, remained in vain, and the sentence was final: the two burglars were sentenced to two prison sentences. eight months in prison including four suspended for the first, and twelve months including six suspended for the second. The two young adults, who live in Clichy-la-Garenne for one and La Garenne-Colombes for the other, were however able to emerge freeawaiting a summons in early 2024 before the sentence enforcement judge.
