For the first in the history of Panini albums, amateur players appear there, reports France Bleu Poitou on Thursday December 7. They can be found in the 49th album, unveiled Wednesday December 6. There are 24 of them in total alongside Ligue 1 stars like Kylian Mbappé. This unprecedented operation was made possible thanks to a program initiated by Uber Eats, main sponsor of Ligue 1.

In this album we find a player from Indre-et-Loire, Marvyn Serré, licensed from the Etoile Sportive Oésienne club at Notre Dame d’Oé. “It’s a lot of pride and I especially thank my club for this because there were a lot of us who were able to do it and they chose me”, he rejoices. It is a personal pride for this player, but also a great recognition for his club. Marvyn Serré has been playing for the Etoile Sportive Oésienne club for 22 years.

“It’s also a great way to highlight amateur football and it’s an operation in which we are very proud to participate”, indicates Thomas Rainereau, vice-president of the Etoile Sportive Oésienne club. Among the lucky ones, we also find an Isérois, Julien Boccardi, goalkeeper of the Saint-Georges de-Commiers team in Isère who is therefore one of the 24 amateur players who are entitled to their sticker in this 49th Panini album.
