To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Fête de la Musique, Tuesday June 21, 2022, the main courtyard of the Elysée Palace takes on a festive air by hosting an unprecedented concert bringing together artists from around the world of various genres.
On the program, pop rock with the British singer Charlie Winston, techno with the Ukrainian DJ Xenia (UA), mbalax with the Senegalese Youssou N’Dour and electro with the French duo Synapson. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.
2,000 tickets are offered to attend the event, in particular to young beneficiaries of the Culture Pass. The ticket office opened on Monday at 10 a.m.
Officially launched by Jack Lang, François Mitterrand’s Minister of Culture, on June 21, 1982, the Fête de la Musique has taken place every year since, on the day of the summer solstice (which is also one of the longest days of the year).
