For Pentecost Monday, Rudy Potisek is preparing the big return of Mont Cassel motocross

Almost 70 years old, Rudy Potisek is impatiently awaiting the return of the public and the motorcyclists for the 39th edition of this motocross race in Cassel. An event that had been canceled for the past 2 years due to the health crisis. Once again, the gratin of the discipline will be there. As proof, the first 8 of the last Enduropale du Touquet will be present in Cassel to try to win the “Timoteï Potisek” trophy, in tribute to Rudy’s son, who died riding his motorcycle in 2009.

A great time to enjoy with family

The public will be able to take over the site at the foot of Mont Cassel from 8:30 a.m. Ticket prices for the event have been set at 10 and 13 euros. Rudy Potisek assures him: “Those who don’t know the event will love it. We can come for a picnic, the place is magnificent, it looks like a golf course. There will of course be something to eat, there will be refreshments. You can spend a wonderful day here without being a motorcycle enthusiast”.

A circuit that guarantees the show

Rudy Potisek, once again did not have to convince the best drivers to come to Kassel. They love this circuit on the slopes of Mont Cassel: “Here the soil is very good, it is flexible. Thanks to my water supply, it is regularly watered. There is no dust. But this circuit remains very technical, with big turns, braking, jumps. It can only be a good one who wins here.

An unconditional love of motorcycling

Rudy Potisek does not hide it, he is a hyper-active who fell into the world of motorcycling very early, from the age of 8: “My parents lived in Kassel near the motocross field. I have always loved this sport despite 2 serious injuries. I had to stop competition 39 years ago. And then my three kids wanted to follow my example, despite my wife’s reluctance.”
