About twenty stands, exhibitors of semi-rigid boats through the sale of GPS for boats. All from the region of Pornic and Loire-Atlantique, the professionals present the weekend of May 13 to 15 in the parking lot of the port of La Noëveillard have just launched the first boat show in the area.
For the Nauta Bene association, the organizer of this first major gathering, it is above all a question of uniting the local players in the yachting world and making them known to everyone among the population and tourists.
A first in Pornic
On the program therefore, exhibition of products, but also animations of all kinds. For example, boat trips are planned along the coast of Pornic, as are moments of sharing around the catering point. All profits from the stand are then donated to the local SNSM, the National Sea Rescue Society.
The activities planned for this Sunday, May 15 at the Pornic boat show:
- Waste collection as part of the “Project Rescue Ocean”
- Sea fishing discovery outing with the association Retz Pêche
- Sculling contest
- Friendly aperitif
- Discovery of the ports of Pornic aboard the Évasion.
This kind of event was lacking for yachting professionals in Pornic. We have a very beautiful port, we want to highlight it” – Baptiste, one of the managers of Pneu Nautic Service in Pornic.
Some sellers say they are already very satisfied with this first edition. They were simply looking to make themselves known to passers-by, and they find themselves with future customers, ready to place boat orders after visiting the show. The organizers say they are in any case already ready to renew the event in 2023with perhaps even more exponents.
