The mayor of Saint-Côme-du-Mont (Manche), Bernard Denis, was attacked for the third time for his support for President Emmanuel Macron, on the night of Wednesday February 16 to Thursday February 17, reports France Bleu Cotentin on Monday February 21 . This Thursday, February 17, Bernard Denis filed a complaint with the gendarmerie, after discovering a tag on his home: “You chose Macron, if he is elected, you will die from a bullet in the head”was written on the inscription.
The mayor had already filed a complaint last December, after the fire on the night of December 6 to 7 of three family cars. Another tag on the wall of his home had been discovered: “Zemur (note: with only one m) President”, “support for Macron” and “to death”. A few days later, he had received a letter in which was written: “The mayor has sold the town, support for Macron, out or die”.

With France Bleu Cotentin, the mayor of Saint-Côme-du-Mont explains that he has “fear for his family” and adds that the damage suffered will have cost him 25,000 euros for the moment.
