Elvis by Baz Luhrmann, Three Thousand Years of Longing by George Miller, Crimes of the Future by David Cronenberg Tori and Lokita of the Dardenne brothers and even the thunderous Top Gun: Maverick by Joseph Kosinski with the return of Tom Cruise are in the crosshairs of the festival leaders, it was said this morning in several specialized magazines, starting with variety.
This magazine continues by saying that the general delegate Thierry Frémaux hopes to entrust the presidency of the jury to a woman and that Marion Cotillard and Penelope Cruz would have been approached. The 75and edition of the Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 17 to 28. The programming of films in official competition must be unveiled the third week of April.
