François Hollande admits it, “the sanctions will necessarily appear limited since these are only days withheld and therefore without compensation for the parliamentarian who has engaged in this type of invective”. He adds and explains that“we cannot exclude a deputy from the National Assembly” since “a deputy came by the will of his voters”. For Francois Hollande, “if we do not want there to be possibly racist deputies in the Assembly, we must not vote for them”.
“Hasn’t this deputy said out loud what a good part of the National Rally is thinking to himself? Asking this question is already answering it.”
