In October, the young Isèroise realizes that her Snapchat account has been hacked: the hacker asks her for “nudes”, photos of her naked, if she wishes to recover it. Instead of giving in to blackmail, she talks about it to her parents, who the next day, file a complaint. Despite the nickname used by the cyber blackmailer, the police managed to trace the thread.
The suspect is involved in other similar cases
A young 20-year-old Stéphanois was arrested on Tuesday, December 7. He is suspected of “attempted extortion by threat”. He is already known to the police for similar facts.
