Football: the game of the skylight of Évry is on tour everywhere in France

Like him, many residents of the Trois Cités district of Poitiers (Vienne) came to try the challenge: fit the ball into a small window. The popular game is born in a group of friends Evry (Essonne), three years ago.

“One day, my little brother was having a hard time with his friends (…) while walking, when they arrived in front of (the skylight), they said: ‘Go ahead, whoever puts the ball in it wins something'”recount Djibril, says Gay the Elder, co-founder of La Lucarne d’Évry. Originally, the skylight is that of a garbage can room in Évry. Gay lold is the first to put a goal there. The masterstroke went viral. The gang then decides to make it a traveling game by building a replica of the facade. “It’s exactly the same at real size (…) there is not a detail missing”assures one of the founders. Everyone can try their luck, like the mayor of the city. “It does not require the same skills”she laughs. A grand final between the best players will take place in Évry on July 2nd.
