The Dordogne referees want to mark the occasion and will not be on the football pitches scheduled for this weekend of April 23 and 24. A decision that comes 10 days after two referees were attacked during two district championship matches.

In Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière on April 10, the referee was threatened by the players of Périgueux Foot who faced AS-Nontron-Saint-Pardoux. Entrenched in his locker room, he called the gendarmes. At the Bugue stadium on the same day, the referee of the match between FC Le Bugue-Vézère and Entente du Périgord Noir filed a complaint after being attacked by the players of the Bugue club.
