Montreal-based Foody Savior, launched this week, gives food stores and restaurants the opportunity to sell their unsold items in the form of surprise baskets rather than throwing them away.

Customers can purchase them on the app at a third of the price before picking them up on site. Foody Savior, available on Google Play and the App Store, already has around thirty merchants in different neighborhoods of Montreal.
