Airfryers have invaded many kitchens. There is no doubt that these new machines represent a real saving of time, money and space.

Fries cooked with little fat in around twenty minutes. This is the particularity of hot air fryers called Airfryer. Kitchen professionals even use this machine to cook many foods. An object that is multitasking in which you can fry vegetables, fish, meat evenly and very quickly. Oil-free fryers sold from around forty euros, and up to several hundred for the largest models.

In one store, oil-free fryers now represent 80% of purchases in the department. Their sales have exploded with more than 45% increase. The first models with little oil were presented in 1979. “Vitamin C is completely eliminated when cooking at high temperatures. And proteins will be less digestible when they are cooked at very high temperatures,” explains a dietitian. Disadvantages which will not prevent the most greedy from finishing their plate.
