Many themes on the program. Jean-Luc Mélenchon must also be questioned about health, purchasing power and inflation, international relations, pensions, secularism, the environment or even culture. Léa Salamé and Laurent Guimier, the two presenters of “Elysée 2022”, will be joined by Anne-Sophie Lapix, Maryse Burgot, Claire Chazal, Patrick Cohen, Maya Lauqué and Hugo Clément.
A hundred French invited to intervene. For this renewed formula, “Elysée 2022” introduces a new device: one hundred French people, selected by the Ipsos institute and representative of the electorate, will react and question Jean-Luc Mélenchon. The far-left candidate will also face questions recorded by young voters who will all vote for the first time in April.
The first left in the polls. Opinion polls give Jean-Luc Mélenchon a clear lead over the other candidates of his political family in the broad sense, such as Yannick Jadot, Christiane Taubira, Fabien Roussel or Anne Hidalgo. But they place him in fifth position in the voting intentions, a distance from second place which would allow him to reach the second round.
