• #RETIREES The presidential majority will “block” in committee at the National Assembly, to derail a proposal to repeal the retirement age at 64, carried by the Liot group. Oppositions denounce an attempt to muzzle them.
• #TOBACCO Smoking dropped between 2016 and 2019, but has now leveled off. Last year, a quarter of 18-75 year olds said they smoked every day (24.5%), according to a study published by Public Health France, or 12 million daily smokers.
• #NORTH KOREA North Korea says it tried to launch a “military reconnaissance satellite” but that this one happened “damaged at sea”. The shooting caused confusion in Japan and Seoul (South Korea). The sirens sounded with an alert of“critical emergency”.
