Monday September 12, the JT of 20 Hours is interested in the frontages of restaurants, coffees or hotels which are covered with flowers. Beyond the aesthetic aspect, it attracts more customers.

In Paris, cafés, brasseries and hotels display flowery facades. “It’s a little call to nature in the capital”, says a woman. They aim to become essential for users of social networks. “I love taking lots of photos for Instagram, it’s pretty with the light and these flowers”, says a tourist. Flowers are present on the terrace, but also inside a Parisian brasserie.

“Initially I had one request per month, then one request per week, now I have five requests per day”ensures Luc Deschamps, florist and designer of floral decorations, who has been making floral decorations for seven years. The fabric flowers are mounted on real branches. Flowered storefronts impact turnover. Three months after the installation of decorations on a brewery, “there are 30% more crowds than before”affirms Ahmed Awedni, manager of the brewery “The good fisherman”.
