Florida Panthers | Spencer Knight enters NHL aid program

Florida Panthers goaltender Spencer Knight is joining the NHL’s Player Assistance Program.

The 21-year-old will therefore be absent indefinitely, the NHL and the Players’ Association announced on Friday afternoon.

Remember that the assistance program is available for players who are struggling with mental health, addiction or other problems.

Per settlement, Knight will continue to receive his salary while he is away. He will be able to find his team when the administrators of the program allow him to do so.

Knight, the Panthers’ 2019 first-round pick, has 21 games in goal this season.
