In a few hours, this Saturday, May 27, 2023, RFM will broadcast Bernard Montiel’s interview with Florent Pagny for the show one hour with. The singer came to talk about his autobiography, Pagny by Florent whose main subject is his illness, lung cancer which he has been facing for many months. “It’s going well, but with all that it involves in terms of learning… Since indeed, I ended up understanding that it’s not something that can be fixed in fifteen days with antibiotics”, explained the guest in an excerpt offered by Gala.
The former coach of The Voice unfortunately had to face a “relapse” after stopping treatment. “I played with fire a little bit, but I won’t play with fire again.” A decision taken when he had decided to find his Pantagony. However, the main interested party “does not regret” his choice. “I could have done the treatment and then had a relapse, because that happens too.”
The interpreter of my freedom of thought seems more determined than ever to overcome his illness. “Now I won’t stop”he said although the path is strewn with pitfalls. “It’s not that simple, but hey, we’ll get there.”
Soon on stage
In a little over a month, Florent Pagny will be able to return to the stage. He is eagerly awaited by his public. On June 30, 2023, for example, Azucena’s husband is scheduled for the arenas of Nîmes where he will find his longtime friend, Zazie. “It’s a comeback to say that I’m going to be able to sing a little again, not like when I was doing my rounds every night”he explained Thursday, June 25 during his visit to Telematin on France 2 opposite Julia Vignali. “I do festivals.
