In Italy, major floods claimed many victims. While rescuers are working to help the victims, some towns are still under water.

The helicopter is still the only vehicle that can rescue victims in Italy and bring them to a safe place. Rescuers scour homes, armed with flashlights to make sure no one is still trapped in the floods. The town of Cesena, in the north of Italy, is drowned, unrecognizable. Where the water has receded, residents are already working to remove the mud before it dries. This is the case of a 90-year-old man who lost his house and his car. “I can not stand it anymore”he confides.

Three new bodies discovered

All are tested by the torrential rains. Three new bodies were discovered in a town on Thursday afternoon. The water went so far as to rush into the village church. “We have no water, no electricity, no food. Nothing!”, launches a person on the spot. Here, it fell in two days which usually falls in six months, enough to cause impressive landslides.
