Flexibilities in effect in Quebec casinos

The gambling offer is gradually returning to Quebec casinos and it is no longer necessary to reserve before visiting an establishment, the casinos being able to alleviate some of the health measures, in accordance with recent public health directives.

Dancing is once again permitted and customers can stand in bars. The number of customers admitted to the gaming tables is also higher. Plexiglas (sneeze guards) will be gradually removed from gaming tables and slot machine areas, etc.

“With these flexibilities, we can provide our customers with a smoother and more entertaining experience. The health and safety of staff and customers alike remain our priority, and we make sure to maintain the highest standards, ”said Kevin Taylor, executive vice-president and chief operating officer of the casinos, in a press release.

However, certain measures will remain, such as the obligation to present the vaccination passport and photo identification. Visitors will also be required to wear a mask or face cover indoors, except when eating and drinking.

Customers wishing to be entertained in Quebec casinos on December 31 and January 1 must use the online reservation tool to ensure they have a place in the casino.
