Fleury frustrates the Blues again

The Blues skaters once again came up against a Marc-André Fleury in full possession of his means. The Minnesota Wild goalie helped his team win 5-1 on Friday at St. Louis.

Two days after making 32 saves, the Quebecer stood up to 29 of the 30 opposing shots. Ryan O’Reilly, on the power play in the third period, is the one who deprived him of a shutout.

The Wild took an early lead in this game. Jordan Greenway needed just 39 seconds before he rattled off the ropes. Then, 99 seconds later, Kirill Kaprizov doubled his lead.

The visitors eventually scored the first four goals of the duel, with Mats Zuccarello and Joel Eriksson Ek hitting the target in the second period and early in the third period respectively. Jonas Brodin, in an empty net, obtained the other success of his people.

The Blues will continue their home run on Sunday, hoping to even the odds in this series, trailing 2-1.
