The PQ bill also plans to modify the Regulation on the flag of Quebec “so that the flag of Quebec is displayed on each building located in Quebec occupied by a federal institution, in each historic site and in each national park located in Quebec as well as than in each municipal park.

“Whether we think of the Forges du Saint-Maurice, the Carillon barracks or of course the Plains of Abraham, these are all places of very high importance for the collective memory of Quebecers. We are proposing that all these places, as well as classrooms, display the Quebec flag, it is a question of respect for our nation,” declared Mr. Bérubé in a press release.
