Of Innu origin and granddaughter of Jack Monoloy, Maya Cousineau Mollen wants to join, through these Children of the lichen, a memory rooted in culture, to shed light on this body and this place involved in History. Against all disappearances, both of women and children, it wants to serve as a beacon, to keep conscience. In the second part, “A bullet in reserve”, a legitimate anger animates him. And these ghosts are often those of women immersed in a bloody story that keeps coming to the surface. We are already following the path of this great author.
