Fourteen people are now indicted as part of the investigation into the death of young Thomas, stabbed in November during a village ball in Crépol in Drôme, according to information from France Bleu Drôme Ardèche on Saturday March 16.

Two people among the 11 arrested on Monday were still in police custody on Friday: they were presented to judges and were indicted for intentional homicide and attempted intentional homicide by an organized gang.

The identity of the author of the fatal stabbing still uncertain

Of the five new indictments, two people were placed in pre-trial detention, as requested by the prosecution. They are two young people aged 18 and 20. Three others are under judicial supervision, although the prosecution had also requested detention. The prosecution recalls that “the certain determination of the identity of the author of the fatal stabbing of Thomas is not certain”.

In this case, nine young people aged 16 to 22 have already been indicted and six have been placed in pre-trial detention. The other three are under judicial supervision.

Investigators from the research section of the Grenoble gendarmerie are therefore still trying to understand the roles of each person and the exact course of the evening of November 18 to 19 in Crépol. The murder weapon has not yet been found. Thomas, 16, was stabbed to death on the night of November 18 to 19 in Crépol, after leaving a village ball.
