Five dead in small plane crash near highway

(Washington) Five people died Monday when a small private plane crashed near a highway in Nashville, in the US state of Tennessee (southeast), local police announced.


“Five people on board the plane died in the accident,” Nashville Metropolitan Police said in a message published on X on Tuesday.

Police also released a photo showing the damaged wreckage of the single-engine plane on an open space off the highway.
