The youngest skipper in the history of 50-foot trimarans, Quentin Vlamynck will take the start of the 12th edition of the Route du Rhum on 6 November. He will be at the helm of Arkema 4, built in the Verdon-sur-Mer shipyards and launched in September 2020. A boat which confirmed this summer that it was capable of going fast since the Girondin has won the Pro Sailing Tour. France Bleu Gironde followed him on a training outing on the Gironde estuary.
