Recall that the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) had released images and videos of two persons of interest Monday evening.

In particular, we saw two young men walking side by side, the night of the murder at the Marina de Saint-Roch, where a homeless man in his fifties was murdered.

A mobile command post was deployed on rue du Pont on Tuesday to meet potential witnesses in this case.

“All of the investigation elements collected by the SPVQ, as well as numerous reports from citizens, made it possible to identify the two men of interest”, specifies Sandra Dion, spokesperson for the police force.

It was the Longueuil police who finally arrested the suspects, aged 18 and 22, from Quebec, on their territory. Currently detained, they should appear by videoconference during the day.
