The Canadian Museum of History is currently hosting an exhibition that explores the origins of the first European kingdoms through precious objects that marked their emergence.
We are talking about copper axes, bronze swords and silver and gold jewelry that individuals and groups amassed, from the Neolithic to the end of the Iron Age, as they increased their power.
The Field Museum designed this exhibition by drawing on the collections of 26 institutions in south-eastern Europe.
The exhibition First kingdoms of Europe will be on display until January 19, 2025 at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau.
