First draw in this Euro 2024. Slovenia and Denmark parted back to back (1-1), Sunday June 16, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart (Germany), in group C of the Euro, at the end of a long boring match, but ultimately much crazier.
Dominant in the game until the 70th minute, the Danes were the first to open the scoring through Christian Eriksen (17′), back at the Euro, 1,100 days after his cardiac arrest during the match Denmark-Finland at Euro 2021. Long imprecise in the last gesture, Benjamin Sesko’s teammates returned to the score in the 77th thanks to a half-volley from the left foot of Erik Janza.
