The Jacques-Cartier Bridge in Montreal will again be closed to motorists and cyclists for three hours on Saturday evening due to fireworks in Prince’s honor.

To enter or leave Montreal, motorists will have to find another way between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. The access ramps to the bridge will be closed as of 8 p.m.
Starting at 10 p.m., the sparkling crackles of fireworks will appear above La Ronde in honor of Prince’s musical career.
Pedestrians, strollers and people with reduced mobility will have access to the bridge. However, cyclists must leave their mode of transport before coming to the bridge. Folding chairs are permitted and chemical toilets are available to visitors, near the Parc Jean-Drapeau exit ramp.
Note that the Jacques-Cartier Bridge will be closed every Wednesday and Saturday evening of the International Loto-Québec fireworks show in Montreal. The dates to watch are:
