Fires: worried residents in the town of Bessèges

The massif is partly burned on the heights of Besseges (gard). Residents see the damage, Friday July 8, after the passage of an impressive forest fire in the night. No victim is regret, but Bessegessmall town recessed between the mountains, was grazed by the flames, Thursday, July 7 afternoon.

“The most impressive thing is that we had flames that came 50 m from the houses so we had to deal with the most urgent”reports Jacques Molle, first deputy mayor of Besseges. Among the 3,000 inhabitants, some had to leave their homes, as a precaution, like a resident who was able to take refuge at the house of his family.
