Fired from “Dancing with the stars”, Maxime Dereymez attacks the production and points the finger at the “impostors” who are part of the jury!

In July 2022, Maxime Dereymez announced sad news to fans of Dance with the stars : his departure… “DALS and I will not celebrate our 12th candle. And it’s not without emotion, because this show will have literally changed my life. I have invested 300% each season, on each scene to offer the best of myself, to sublimate my partners and to honor this magnificent position as coach and choreographer”, he wrote via an Instagram post.

Regularly on tour with his troupe of dancers called D’Pendance, which also includes other former “Dances with the Stars” like Katrina Patchett, the man now flourishes far from the television sets he only meets in the interview framework!

The proof, this Friday, February 24, 2023, Maxime Dereymez made a passage on the program “Chez Jordan” (C8) to promote his tour throughout France with D’pendance, but also to return to his hasty departure from DALS, the program that revealed it… And against all odds, the dancer swayed on the jury of the TF1 program by letting it be known that he believed that there were “impostors” among them that they were “always on the air” without giving names.

Pushed out

Subsequently, Maxime Dereymez informed Jordan de Luxe that his departure from “dancing with the stars” was not his will. “Be careful, it was not me who made the decision. It was TF1 that did. This choice, but it does not matter, “ did he declare. “We had an interview and they made this decision afterwards. After 11 seasons, to evolve you have to get out of your comfort zone so today I thank the channel for that”he concluded by revealing in passing that he had already been hesitating to leave for a few years… A blessing in disguise!
