Firearm projectiles on a house in Lorraine: two suspects arrested in Laval

A house in Lorraine, in the Laurentians, was the target of several gunshots during the night from Friday to Saturday.

It was around 1:15 a.m. that the Régie intermunicipale de police Thérèse-De Blainville was called regarding firearm projectiles found at a residence on the Moselle coast.

Later that night, two suspects aged 25 and 27 were located in a vehicle on Chomedey Boulevard in Laval. They attempted to flee before stopping the vehicle and fleeing on foot.

The suspects, residents of Ontario, were finally arrested and will be met by investigators from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), said provincial police spokesperson Ève Brochu-Joubert.

“The vehicle had been reported stolen in Ontario,” she said.

The investigation was transferred to the SQ’s major crimes unit.

According to neighbors met by TVA Nouvelles, this would not be the first criminal event to occur at this residence in Lorraine.
