A fire in the Vaucluse, the first holidaymakers in the South-West, but also a cetacean in the Seine… France Télévisions returns to the news of Friday July 1st.

The south of France was again affected by fires on Friday July 1. 22 hectares have been burned in the Vaucluse, and around thirty homes are threatened. The tide could still turn, and the next few hours will be crucial. Across the country, vacation departures have begun. In a campsite in Arcachon (Gironde), it’s time to relax, between swimming pool and sunbathing. Seasonal workers have also been hired: the bar will open its doors in the evening.

In a service station near Poitiers (Vienne), it is already the commotion. The reserve has been filled in anticipation of the next few weeks. A cetacean of almost 10 meters has meanwhile decided to take a vacation in the Seine. It is probably a whale, which was filmed in Berville-sur-Mer, in Eure. According to specialists, he would be in good health, and would be heading offshore.
